The Future of this Site

Hello my loyal followers, this is Adam, aka SuperSonicHero10. I realized I have neglected this channel for about two years and feel now would be time for an update. Long story short, I'm probably not going to be using this site in the near future due in part because I found better platforms to display my art.
As I mentioned in the last post, I have been working at Disneyland for almost 3 Years now, I am still a Food Service Worker at Rancho Del Zocalo Resturante in Frontierland as both Food Service Worker and Greeter. And my Photography skills have improved greatly since I was last on here. I have also gained major prominence in the world of Cosplay Photography and have been touring around many major Conventions in the Southern California area, and I'm also working on big photo projects for my photography major.
Because of this, I felt that because DA has gradually been losing it's prominence compared to other sites like Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, and etc. I figured I should do what my other artist friends did, and move on to the latter platforms.

I am very proud to have started on this site as my entrance into the world of art, and I will continue to improve on that craft for years to come. Someday I do hope to upload more content on here eventually, but as of right now, Facebook (and eventually Instagram) are my top priorities, and I think it's better that way. I will miss many of you who have followed me over the years, and I do consider you all my lifelong friends, Thank You for everything, and I hope to not only allow you to follow my journey, but I will try to follow all of yours too!!!!

HELLO Everyone, this is Adam, aka SuperSonicHero10, and I'd like to first say I deeply apologize for my VERY long absence on DA this year, I've been insanely busy, but don't worry, I do have a story to tell you all!
First and foremost, I have a job now, but not just any job, I'm proud to tell you all that I'm now a Cast Member at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California!!!!!! 
Yes, you've read right, I work for Disneyland!!!! (and by extension the Walt Disney Company as well!!!!!)

(and by extension the Walt Disney Company as well!!!!!)Unfortunately, I didn't get a Photopass job like many of my longtime followers would presume I have, BUT I did get a very awesome job as a Food Prep worker at Rancho Del Zocalo in Frontierland, SO if you're in the Disneyland area, (especially in Frontierland), feel free to look me up! (I'm one of the African American workers who has the words ADAM from Long Beach, CA on his name tag!) I'm also in the College Program, meaning I not only get what is essentially a Paid Internship, but I also get college credits as well! In other news, I'm sure some may have wondered why I haven't posted much lately, due to School and other things (including my New Job!) I haven't been able to have time to upload, caption and edit my photos. (Still don't have Photoshop yet sadly ;_; ) So as far as AX 2012 and AM2, those will have to be put on hold for the time being.
SPEAKING of AX, there was almost a point where I almost didn't attend this year, due to my job interfering with July 4th holiday, but due to circumstances, I managed to go, and took A TON Of photos, and I also got to see my friend Jenny aka chihano14.deviantart.com/ was also there for one afternoon. (we both almost didn't make it this year!!!!) I also got to visit the Disney 23 (D23) Expo and got to hang out with my friend, Tory aka The1KoolKitty www.youtube.com/user/the1koolk… who also works at Disneyland, and we had so much fun, I got to attend the Cosplay Contest, got to meet Paige O'Hara, the voice of Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and overall had a really amazing time!!!!
I actually took a lot of Photos for the event that I planned to upload onto here along with my AX 2013 stuff.....but then something very unfortunate happened....
The memory card that I took all my photos for the summer, from AX to D23 apparently got corrupted, and thus the files currently can't be retrieved, and apparently my computer didn't save them like they were supposed too....
So outside of the AX Photos I uploaded on my Facebook, the D23 Photos and the AX 2013 photos are essentially gone for good unless I find a way to retrieve from my corrupted memory card (and I dare not risk formatting it until I get a final diagnosis....)
So yeah, an entire Summers worth of work, could very much be gone.... needless to say I am very upset at this, as I really thought I got some amazing shots this year..... 
BUT all is not lost!
My good friend, assistant and fellow artist Cassie, aka cassieissassyfersure.deviantar… (who happens to also be a VERY talented Cosplayer and artist in her own right!) has posted a Photoshoot we did with friends in their Toradora Cosplay for Anime Expo 2013! It was one of my biggest directing jobs as a Portrait photographer, so I thought it was a very good test of my skills with my Camera, so please check those photos out in Cassie's Gallery cassieissassyfersure.deviantar… and please PLEASE check out the rest of her work, she is really talented! (I can't stressed that Enough!!!!!)
But other then the sadness of losing my photos, AX 2013 was fun, Attack on Titan seemed to be a real big draw this year, like I said, I got to hang out with Cassie and friends, got to see the Little Witch Academia screening (which I HIGHLY recommend you watch this on YouTube, it's a great OVA that I can see as franchise someday! www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBlqxE…
I also in other news (I have A LOT to tell you) one of my Works was actually featured in a Gallery recently, I got a ton of praise for it, it was an experimental piece that was both a an Anti-Censorship Message and a Tribute to one of my favorite Sci-Fi books for all time, Fahrenheit 451, I got a ton of praise for it, and I may show it to you all some day, it's one of my best Photo related artworks!
BUT, I'm sure you're all still wondering what I've been up too as far as my REAL Non-Cosplay related Photowork has been, well you are in luck, I actually have my entire Portfolio from Last Semester online via Magcloud.com, and it is Up For Sale in both Digital and Printed Formats!!!! It's called Resurgence and Identity, it's a collection of my improvements both as a Photographer and as an Artist, and it is worth checking out!!!

But everything aside, I am dreadfully sorry for essentially abandoning all my friends and my (hopefully still loyal) fans out there, I'm sure I'm probably already forgotten by many, and I can understand that, again, I am sorry, but I do promise I will try to upload more stuff on here eventually, but right now, I unfortunately have to say I am going to be busy for a long while (for a good reason I might add!) but I want everyone out there, all my best friends of whom I've made on here, and all the artists that have inspired me during my time when I started this account, that I have NOT forgotten any of you, and I will support you all anyway I can, feedback, my trademarked "fave bombings", you know it, so until I get the time, I can confirm that I am still doing photo work, and I will still call DA my home as an artist!

Thank You to those who wished me a Happy 21st Birthday last Friday, I had a really fun time, I got a couple of gifts, saw Rise of the Guardians (which is a REALLY amazing film BTW) went out to eat, and even spent the remaining hours of the day at Disneyland, so overall, it was really fun! (and not an ounce of Alcohol is in my system for those wondering)
But I think today's subject overrides my own particular day, today is Christmas Day, a time for celebration and family togetherness. With all the things that has happened this year, all the negativeness that has been going on in the news and whatnot, today should be a day of happiness for those we love to be with the most.
This has always been one of my favorite, if not my favorite holiday of the year and it makes me feel grateful that I have a family to be with, I couldn't have asked for anything less.
As I'm posting this at Midnight in my time, I obviously haven't opened presents yet, but I will say that regardless of what I get, big or small as they may be, want or need, I will appreciate the thought that came with the gifts that was given to me.
So with that all being said, I hope today and everyday that you cherish you are given this season, regardless of what holiday you celebrate, rather it be a gift in a box, or the love that your love ones give everyday.
So, with that all being said, from myself and my family, I'd like to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and I hope you continue to enjoy what I put on here for the days (and hopefully years) to come!

Good evening my followers and friends, firstly I'd like to address my greatest apologies for not being here in such a LONG time!!!!! Too all who are waiting for the AM2/AX Pictures, I am also greatly sorry, these past couple of months have been very, very, VERY taxing for me as of late!
As many long time users who've followed me here would know, I'm still very much a student photographer, and as such, I'm still taking classes to hone my skills, this past semester was no exception, I had to take 2 Photo Classes (as well as an Art History Class) and needless to say, balancing the 2 along with running this account and elsewhere was becoming a bit taxing, so I took the unfortunately decision to put my postings here on hold to better myself as an artist.
Other factors such as the having to help defend my major from being cut from the schools curriculum (which is slightly on-going, but luckily things may have slowed down a bit) combined with myself having to find a job (which thank goodness I now have for the season!) has made it even more harder for me to even be on the site as much as I used to.
But all that aside, there was another thing that also hampered my returning here: my own self-confidence. Looking at all my previous works between then and now have slightly made me afraid that my work isn't on par with the greats you all see on your feeds each passing day, so I made it a point to make sure that I wouldn't come back here until I had the right knowledge in both picture taking, conception and editing for people to want to actually look at my work and say "hey I want to buy and display it" or "this artist has real potential to be something good" and I wanted to use this semester as a test to prove that I had what it takes, and judging from the work I pulled in this time, I think I'm not that far off.
So yeah, here I am, I'm back (hopefully for good this time) but of course I do stress that I do have a lot of things to take care of as far as school and work and so forth and that takes top priority, but I will not let anyone think I completely abandon here, that is NOT an option, I do enjoy my time here and I enjoy the continued support I've been getting so far!
As far as what I've been up too aside from school/work, I've recently got my hands on this amazing game for the 3DS called Zero Escape: Virtues Last Reward (the sequel to 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors), a pretty rad visual novel adventure, mystery, puzzle game, I highly recommend it for the older crowd!
Also another reason I posted, next Friday MY BIRTHDAY IS COMING UP!!!!!!!! I'm super excited, I can't wait to for the awesomeness that day brings, as well as the many well wishers I'm sure to get on that day.
Likewise, since my birthday is the 21st, I would like to advise everyone to please refrain from ANY "End of the World" 2012 Comments!!!!! I kind of don't want my account to be a trolls nest as it were and I'm also very sick of that hype up thing (especially since it's my B-Day!) but of course, I hope everyone will be very mature on that day, or at the very least come up with some legitimately funny jokes for myself to laugh it!
And yeah, I, Adam aka SuperSonicHero10 has returned at LONG last, and I will try to keep this page interesting enough for many users who enjoy Cosplay and Photography in general!

My Time at Anime Expo 2012!

Hello Again, Friends, Watchers and (Hopefully) Newcomers! Sorry for the very strong lack of activity, my left hand has (more or less) completely recovered, and I just had a REALLY amazing time at AX!
I got to meet some really amazing people, and so some really AWESOME Cosplays! I took the chance to give people my Business Card! (hopefully that will my name out there!)
It was really cool, I got tons of books, a Movie (Loups=Garous) got to meet Little Kuriboh and his wife, voice actress Marianne Miller, saw the Panty and Stocking Dub premiere, saw the FMA OVA Collection and the AMV Music Awards. Took tons of Photos, got to participate in a few Photo Gatherings (in particular, Adventure Time, Hetalia and My Little Pony!) and saw a few friends.
Homestuck, MLP, Panty and Stocking (this time more equal pairs!), Lollipop Chainsaw (really big this year!) Pokemon, Haruhi (which surprised me, considering last years lack their of!) Avatar (especially Legend of Korra) Black Butler, and a lot more obscure characters! (I saw someone dressed up as Princess Yum-Yum from The Thief and the Cobbler!!!!)
As mentioned last time, I do plan on uploading the AX Photos, after I finish uploading the AM2 Photos (hopefully it should take me Too long) and then I'll get the ball rolling from there.
To those I sent cards too, I promise I will upload your photos Very Soon! Be aware (aside from my schedule/semi-sporatic uploading), I do sift out only the highest quality ones (i.e. is the lighting good, or was this shot/subject good) so there could be a chance I may not upload yours photos, but hopefully it shouldn't be an issue, I really hope you like all the others I choose!
So yeah, I'm sorry if I haven't done much in a while! And (now that my hands ok!) I hope that I can provide more photos, and more fun!
