Micro Oasis (Micro Desert 1 Year Later!)

Description

Hello everyone, sorry for the lack of activity on here as of late, finals are about to begin, so I'll be having my hands full for the time being.

ANYWAY, here's a treat to many of my older watchers, here's a photo of the location of where my "Micro Desert" collection [link] was shot, exactly a year later!

This was shot 4 Months ago at one of my College campus's, I was actually quite surprised to see so many plants were put here into this nice little garden area. And judging from the centerpiece, I assume it was made in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. (Of course I could be wrong) The flowers were arrange in such a way, that it made a normally empty field into a beautiful place to look at.

A side bit of trivia: From what I heard, a Skunk had apparently taken residence in the area since I was last there, so I had to be a bit careful where I was.

This was really a nice way to test out my new Cannon 100 EOS Rebel T2i Camera, which shoots way better quality photos then my old Fujifilm! (which means I don't have to worry about those bad pixels that appear in my old photos anymore!) This combined with the Photoshop program I'm temporarily using (I have to use the Schools computer's for this) give a very vibrant looking photos then my usual stuff.

Currently the flower arrangement was removed two weeks after I shot this, so now it's back to a pile of soil! (although it still has more nice grass) The Skunk is still at large in the area from what I've heard....

Wow! What a difference a year can make! It's quite a long time, isn't it?
I really like the way you captured the flower arrangement! The colours are beautiful (I especially like the pink flowers.) It's too bad that the flower arrangement was removed, but it was obviously pretty while it lasted. I hope that the skunk enjoyed the flowers too...
Lovely job with this! It's so nice to look at!

(And best of luck with your finals! I'm sure that you're going to ace them all! ^_^)
